PLAN YOUR DIVE – DIVE YOUR PLAN!

THIS EXPRESSION IS BEING USED EVERY DAY!

But what does it really mean?

First of all you have to plan your own dive! That’s why it’s very important when you go with a dive guide to listen to the briefing. The guide is making guidelines for the dive based on your experience. In the briefing you’ll discus max depth, bottom time and other relevant information (pressure, marine life, environmental behavior, hand signals, emergency procedures etc.)

STAY WITHIN YOUR LIMITS! If you want to stay safe throughout your dive consider things like your equipment, physical condition, experience and how comfortable you’re in the water.

STICK TO THE PLAN! When you go for your dive you stick to the plan, BUT, if you find yourself in dangerous, strenuous or unsafe conditions then abort the dive in a safe way!
