Palung Palung
Located between Tulamben's drop off and Batu Kelebit dive site, we will take a local fishing boat named Jukung to get there. Palung in the local language means a river bed at the bottom of the valley. The dive site is located in the valley formed by the cliff to the east and ends there. In the recreational diving area of 5 to 30 meters, countless marine life inhabits here. Palung has six ridgelines, of which three main lines and three branch lines, these ridges create five valleys, and the eastern part of Palang is covered by thin, short grass. Here, you can see red seaweed like a carpet covering the entire sea floor, which people call a red carpet. The ridges here are covered by rocks and corals. Soft and hard corals and various small creatures that examples of symbiosis. Water temperature: 28-30 degrees throughout the year. Depth 5-30 meters.

A large group of bump head parrotfish, reef sharks, squid and even eagle rays are also possible, pygmy seahorses can be found in sea fans at depths of 25 to 30 meters, a lot of red-toothed trigger fish and butterfly fish can be seen on the black sand on gentle slopes near the valley. a lot of sea rabbits, rear jaw fish, various combinations of shrimps and gobys, garden oysters, black saddle groupers, and octopus can also be found on the sand.
