Lipah Reef

Lipah is a quiet bay located 3km from Jemeluk and can be accessed by road. Lipah owes its names te presence of Japanese-style toilets, but the history is little known. Most abundant coral reefs rest beteen 6 and 12 meters, and because of its shallow depth, its popular with divers who love wide angle photograph. Its waters are rich in nutrients and there is an abundance of marine life, due to an area of strong current along the reef. The visibility can be reduced if the weather conditions are not at their best.
